"Smartly" is a real people person and a bit nosey. Always has to see what you're doing and if there's anything he can help with. He's a good size fellow with lots of bone and substance.

He has 60 days under saddle and is quick as a cat. Had the first 30 fall of 2010 and came back for another 30 days spring 2011 remembering everything he'd learned before. Very willing and eager to please he is extremely light in the bridle and moves off leg pressure immediately.

His dam, Texas Charm, is cutting/cow horse bred. While she herself was unshown, her sire All Round Texas, is a two time Champion Stock Horse of the Year with championships in cutting, reining, cow horse, roping and pleasure. He has sired 6 National Champion Offspring. Her dam's brother is 2009 AHA Working Cow Horse Futurity Champion.

Smartly's sire is 2009 Appaloosa World Champion in Senior Cutting, DK Smartmate who's sire, Smartmate, has cutting LTE of $51, 350 and is an Equi-Stat All-Time Leading Cutting Sire and the 2007 #7 Leading Cutting Sire, siring the earners of $5,030,000.

Smartly is nicely started and ready to train. Will make an excellent non pro cutter. Here's your 2012 project!

Smartly is now in George Brown's pasture with the intent of starting him roping. Good eye George! Can't wait to come and watch him work!
