Star was originally started under saddle and went to the broodmare band where she had a number of especially talented babies for us. We have her dam and are keeping one her daughters, so Star is available. She is a happy mare who loves to cuddle. Star has an excellent temperament, athletic ability and a willingness to learn. Star went to the hills to get a refresher and some conditioning and is coming along very quickly. She is a bit tentative with strangers but after a few rides gains confidence and becomes a real pleasure to ride. Not at all spooky, she travels past snakes, tin and flags without fuss. She is nice and smooth in all gaits. Star has a fast and comfortable extended trot that will take you great distances, very comfortably and quickly. Once Star knows you she is comfortable going out on the trail on her own and doesn't fuss or rush trying to get back to the barn on the way home. She'd make a competitive distance horse or a nice non pro / amateur show horse. With her looks she'd get the judges eye! Star also has the potential to become a good school horse once she gets some experience.
