Tex Appeal

Foaled February 4, 2001
ApHC # 602094

IAHA #1A 345291

Peeler is all go forward! Not bronky, silly or mean, just wants to move forward with her ground eating strides. She walks out faster than most horses trot and they have to lope to keep up with her working trot.

Smooth gaits at all speeds and a nice easy lope. She is not at all spooky. She crosses bridges, creeks and running water without hesitation. No fear of dogs, traffic, bicycles or birds. And Peeler is very pretty to boot! She's not for the camera shy - people take her picture wherever she goes.

This mare is at just the right age plus she is attractive, nice to be around, has an awesome pedigree on both sides, and proven that she can excel in distance riding. With a couple of 25 and 50 mile CTR's and Endurance, she has shown she can easily go the distance.

She has a proven working pedigree. Her Appaloosa sire is Canadian National Champion and 2 time Alberta Stock Horse of the Year, All Round Texas. He has champion offspring in many different disciplines and has championships himself in cutting, reining, working cow horse, western pleasure and roping - often all at the same show! We've never found the bottom of him.

Her Arab dam is unshown but used for trail riding in the mountains and has done some team penning. Her sire Set Fire is by Aladdinn's best producing son, AAF Kaset. Set fire has championships in Halter, Hunter and Western Pleasure with offspring successfully competing at A level and National shows in Working Cow Horse and Reining. Her dam Desert Sabrina is the dam of dressage stallion Off Broadway.

Her first 25 mile CTR was in 2005 she finished as fresh as she started and wanting to do more. Her second CTR a year later she won first place with a score of 297 out of 300! The following year she was entered in the Intermediate class of the Rattlesnake Round Up where she placed 3 in a large class. In 2007 she also tried her first 50 Endurance Ride. In 2008 Peeler went to the Canadian Nationals for a 25 mile Endurance and then in 2009 she did the 50 mile Open Rattle Snake Round Up CTR backwards..... pilot error. Oops!

This mare is at just the right age plus she is attractive, nice to be around, has an awesome pedigree on both sides, and proven that she can excel in distance riding.

Congrats to the Brunner family! Sharon's daughter, Leah, has been riding her since Santa dropped her off Christmas morning. Once she moves on to Major (Made Ya Luke) Naomi will take over her reins!
