Sassy is the first foal out of a very successful mating of All Round Texas, 2x Alberta Stock Horse of the Year and Cdn National Champion and sire of offspring who have earned 7 Canadian National Championships and 3 Reserves, a Superior in Reining and futurity & reining money earners. Her dam is Canadian High Point Champion Working Cow Horse and daughter of multiple World Champion, High Sign Nugget. Sassy has 3 black full brothers standing at stud, two of which are snowcaps, a black roan sister at a stud farm in London, England and a sister who has just won 2 National Championships and a ROM in halter as a yearling.

With her big wide eyes and her twisty ears, you know the devil made her do it! She's pretty sure she is *it*. This mare was born black with a few white spots over her hips and shed out to a pretty blue varnish roan. She is homozygous appaloosa for the Lp gene which means all her foals will be eligible for regular registration.

Sassy was started in Reining. She has all the talent her pedigree says she should have and she looks sharp doing it! She joined the broodmare band in 2003 and had a bay roan filly and then a chestnut roan colt with spots by Sailors Little Dude (AQHA Reining Stallion). Her third foal is a gorgeous black blanketed filly by Rein Dancer named Taylored to Rein.
