"Riggs" stands 15'2 at two yrs old so should finish over 16 hands. He is an impressively built, powerful stallion with a gentle mind. He has had four months professional riding as a two year old. He is started on cattle and enjoys the hunt. He has been used to change out cattle, works gates with ease, and enjoys going out into the pasture to gather the cows up.

He is a wonderful dark chocolate color. A result of adding yellow to basic black as confirmed through DNA testing at the U of C Davis. This means he can sire palomino and buckskin foals! His pedigree is one focusing on performance with reining, gaming, hunter and cow horse. A versatility prospect deluxe! He has the athletic ability to back up the promise in the pedigree.

Riggs was test bred as a two yr old to two mares, Arpana, an aristocratically bred Russia mare and Moongoer (aka Ala Carte), an own daughter of Hall of Fame stallion, Goer. Watch the foals page for his get when they arrive!

We try to have one stallion prospect for sale at all times so Riggs is available for sale. He is reasonably priced at $4,500. He can win in halter, AND you can get him ready for under saddle classes or use him as a ranch horse and get your mares covered at home at the same time. Riggs will stand to the public until sold at which time mare owners will have the choice, at the purchaser's discretion, of transferring the breeding to the new owner or using one of our other stallions. We will only accept booking fees until the semen is ordered or the mare arrives for breeding at which time the balance of the breeding fee would be due. If suitable arrangements to the mare owner can not be accommodated by the new owner, the booking fee will be refunded.
